We ate lunch at Wayside Inn and took a walk to see the nearby historic grist mill, school house (allegedly the origin of Mary of "Mary had a Little Lamb" fame), and church. We all decided we needed to play tourist in our own country more often!

Jim and I went for lunch at the Wayside Inn for my birthday a month ago. Always meant to go. It was delightful. Then we came home and read Tales of a Wayside Inn by Longfellow. I love New England!
